dev-lua/lua-periphery
Lua library for GPIO, LED, PWM, SPI, I2C, MMIO and serial I/O in Linux

dev-lua/lua-periphery: new package, add 2.5.0
Lua bindings for c-periphery. Upstream's Makefile builds the
c-periphery git submodule into a static archive, but the release
tarball ships the submodule empty; the first patch links the system
libperiphery through pkg-config and includes its headers by name.
The second patch fixes MMIO:read64 for values above LUA_MAXINTEGER.
"0x%lux" prints the value in decimal with a literal trailing x, and on
32-bit targets %lu is also the wrong width for a uint64_t. Still
present upstream; not yet reported.
GCC's "line may be used uninitialized" warning in lua_gpio.c is a
false positive: every path that reads line has assigned it.
The test suite drives real peripherals, so it is restricted.
