The applier re-enabled three records that were pinned OFF and resurrected
the packages behind them. All three live in ::gentoo, which is why they
were dropped here in the first place, and two came back unfetchable:

sci-ml/ollama-0.34.0 Manifest carried ollama-0.33.3-deps.tar.xz's
size and hashes under the 0.34.0 name, and
LLAMA_CPP_tag was still 0.33.3's b10760
app-admin/calamares-3.4.3 same rename-without-recompute, this time on
calamares-3.4.2b-gentoo-patches.patch
sys-power/upower-1.91.4 fetchable, but byte-identical to ::gentoo's
1.91.3 ebuild: a duplicate, not a divergence

Only the ollama record tripped check-autoupdate-damage.sh, because it is
the one carrying a bare `enabled = false`. The other two also wore
`disabled_by = "auto"`, which the check reads as "the package came back
on purpose" -- true when a human re-adds it, false here. Restored all
three records verbatim from HEAD and dropped the three package
directories again.

Also dropped the eleven md5-cache entries this bump orphaned; 51 older
ones remain from earlier commits and are untouched here.

Also drops metadata/md5-cache/media-libs/vulkan-loader-1.4.362_p20260904, which
an earlier egencache run had left behind: the ebuild was gone but its cache entry
survived, and that is the litter whose floor is zero. Removed by re-running
egencache with the package as an explicit filter, which prunes orphans itself.

The mesa and mesa_clc BetterCompressionUri and PythonCompatUpdate results predate
this bump -- the previous ebuilds carry the same SRC_URI form and the same
PYTHON_COMPAT=( python3_ ) -- so they travel with the snapshot rather
than arriving with it. openai, claude-code and vulkan-loader scan clean.

mod(12 packages): tag every remaining REQUIRED_USE divergence, del(metadata/md5-cache/dev-util/mesa_clc-26.3.0_pre20260905)

The last thirteen resolution-affecting parity rows, and not one was a lag. All
thirteen were decisions already taken and already argued in the ebuild - eleven
of them ALREADY TAGGED on a different axis, by the same edit that caused this
one. With these the ALIGN count on DEPEND, RDEPEND, BDEPEND and REQUIRED_USE
reaches zero, from 42 this morning.

ONE EDIT, TWO AXES - the shape that produced eleven of the thirteen:

PYTHON_COMPAT gains 3.14 -> IUSE gains a target AND $
expands to a wider ^^ group
(crossover-bin, netdata, foldingathome, and
libreoffice/calibre in the other direction)
LLVM_COMPAT gains a slot -> same, through $
(mesa, mesa_clc)
a USE flag appears or goes -> the constraint naming it follows
(zed, networkmanager, qemu, freecad)

A tag names ONE axis - collect_tags captures the first token after the colon -
so tagging the axis where the edit was made leaves the axis it propagated to
reading ALIGN forever. Fourth and fifth occurrences of this in three batches.

TWO WORTH READING ON THEIR OWN.

freecad has no test? ( techdraw ) because there is no techdraw flag to name.
This ebuild builds TechDraw unconditionally, -DBUILD_TECHDRAW=ON beside
SKETCHER, SPREADSHEET and WEB, where ::gentoo passes $(usex techdraw). The
constraint is satisfied by construction, and restoring it would reference a
flag that does not exist and kill the ebuild. This is the row A08 was pinned on
until the previous commit - it was never a lag, which is one more reason that
pin was wrong.

ghc gates ::gentoo's unconditional ^^ ( llvm_slot_* ) behind llvm? ( ). An
unconditional ^^ with no default forces every profile to choose an LLVM slot
even at USE=-llvm, which stops a headless emerge dead. Gating it costs an llvm
user nothing. The overlay is ahead here, not behind.

mesa_clc declares no REQUIRED_USE at all - llvm-r2.eclass builds it from
LLVM_COMPAT - so its tag sits beside that declaration instead.

Verified. Every md5-cache delta is _md5_ only: no depend field, no IUSE, no
REQUIRED_USE changed, which is what a comment-only edit must produce. Two
entries also reordered _eclasses_; checked pair by pair, same eclasses and same
hashes, egencache simply rewrote them sorted. pkgcheck against a worktree at
07519e2e3 differs on four packages by LINE NUMBERS ONLY - the same findings,
shifted by the inserted comments. The sweep holds at 230 rows with ALIGN 83 ->
70 and JUSTIFIED 147 -> 160: the thirteen were reclassified, not dropped.
--self-test 24/24, A20 untouched because the total did not move.

The deleted md5-cache entry is unrelated collateral, kept rather than restored:
dev-util/mesa_clc-26.3.0_pre20260905 has had no ebuild since yesterday's bump
and egencache removed the orphan. Recreating it would be recreating litter.

mod(media-libs/vulkan-loader, dev-util/{act,mesa_clc}, dev-lang/rapydscript-ng, sys-cluster/minikube, app-text/libetonyek): document 6 divergences

Six single-axis packages, each checked before being written about:

vulkan-loader IUSE layers, a convenience flag pulling the validation
layers in as PDEPEND; ::gentoo leaves that to the user
act LICENSE+= names what the vendored Go modules are under,
where ::gentoo declares only act's own MIT
rapydscript-ng BSD-2 and MIT come from the npm tarballs fetched
individually through SRC_URI; ::gentoo ships one
prebuilt node_modules blob and declares only BSD
minikube INHERIT shell-completion, the successor eclass covering
zsh and fish; ::gentoo still has bash-completion-r1,
and newbashcomp comes from either
mesa_clc IUSE llvm_slot_23, in lockstep with media-libs/mesa
libetonyek PATCHES mdds-3.0 compatibility, needed because this
overlay carries dev-util/mdds at 3.2.1 against
::gentoo's 3.0.0

Two of these are cases where the overlay is the more precise of the two:
act and rapydscript-ng both enumerate the licences of what they actually
vendor instead of naming only the top-level project's.

Noted and NOT fixed, because it is out of this sweep's scope: libetonyek's
metadata.xml fails metadata.xsd, using remote-id type "libreoffice-git",
which is not in the schema's enumeration. It predates this commit.

egencache also dropped a batch of orphaned md5-cache entries for
vulkan-loader snapshots whose ebuilds are gone.

mod(sys-firmware/edk2, net-libs/libqmi, app-editors/{vim,zed}, app-office/libreoffice, +10): apply the approved parity remediation

Second pass over the 2026-09-04 audit, after the items that block or verify.
Each one was re-measured against the tree as it stands today rather than taken
from the report, and three of them came out differently for it.

SECURITY, and the one judgement call in the set:

sys-firmware/edk2 -> openssl 3.5.8 (revbump to -r2). We are deliberately NOT
faithful to edk2-stable202608's submodule pin (8cf17aae = 3.5.7) here, which is
the unusual direction for this overlay, so the ebuild carries the reasoning: the
library is linked statically into firmware with no host update path, and 3.5.8
fixes ten CVEs including CVE-2026-63072, an 8-byte OOB heap write in CMS
AES-WRAP-PAD. Diverging from a submodule SHA is reversible at any bump; an
unfixed CVE in flashed firmware is not. ::gentoo made the same call.

SILENT CORRECTNESS:

net-libs/libqmi declared SLOT="0/5.11" while installing libqmi-glib.so.5.12.0
(measured in VDB CONTENTS). A subslot that does not match its library disables
the rebuild it exists to trigger. Revbumped to -r1, because correcting the value
alone only changes what FUTURE consumers record.

app-editors/zed gained sys-apps/xdg-desktop-portal, which it never had: ashpd is
used from both gpui backends (x11/client.rs and wayland/client.rs), so file
dialogs and screen capture failed at runtime, not at build. ::gentoo has it.

dev-util/glslang gained the multilib_src_test skip for bug #977176. We keyword
~arm without the skip that makes ~arm testable.

app-office/libreoffice: --disable-gtk3 sat 44 lines above $(use_enable gtk3),
contradicting IUSE="+gtk3". It works today only because autoconf honours the
last flag, so a reordering breaks it silently -- removed.
--enable-skia-vulkan-validation was passed unconditionally inside
--enable-release-build; that is SK_ENABLE_VK_LAYERS=1, debug instrumentation, so
it is now gated on USE=debug. Plus the two missing := subslots.

app-editors/vim: restore five of the six patches in ::gentoo's vim-patches
snapshot, which this overlay had been dropping on every bump. Measured, not
assumed -- each verified with portage's own patch flags against the 9.2.1036
tarball. 002_all_vim-7.3-apache is deliberately excluded and tagged: it fails
with 2 hunks because upstream rewrote the block, and it costs syntax
highlighting for two Gentoo-specific config paths. ::gentoo has not hit this yet
(its newest vim is 9.1.1652, where it still applies).

ARCH COVERAGE, against the overlay's own "restricting to ~amd64 needs a
justification" rule. All widened to ~arch only -- our versions are newer than
::gentoo's, so nothing enters stable: dev-lang/lua (1 arch -> 16),
media-plugins/frei0r-plugins (2 -> 9), app-emulation/qemu (2 -> 8),
net-analyzer/netdata (1 -> 5), dev-util/mesa_clc (+~riscv).

dev-util/spirv-headers is the one with a measured failure behind it, and the
audit had it backwards. It is not behind ::gentoo -- it is byte-identical to
their 9999. The defect is INTERNAL: our spirv-tools carries 13 arches and our
spirv-headers 8, so the consumer cannot resolve its header on ~mips (48
profiles) and ~alpha (82). Widened to match the consumer; pkgcheck
NonsolvableDeps for the pair goes to zero.

STALE FLOORS: media-libs/mesa RUST_MIN_VER 1.82.0 -> 1.85.0 (::gentoo raised it
at 26.2.1); net-misc/modemmanager was LOWERING the tree-wide
gobject-introspection floor to 1.38.

WHERE THE REPORT WAS WRONG:

media-gfx/imagemagick "lost verify-sig" is not remediable and the ebuild now
says why, with evidence. The old comment claimed upstream signs only the latest
release; it does not sign that either -- 7.1.2-31 IS the newest and both the
tarball and its .asc are 404 on all three mirror://imagemagick hosts, as are
-30, -29, -28 and -25. ::gentoo's copy works because Gentoo mirrors distfiles on
its own infrastructure. Adopting their SRC_URI would trade a working fetch for a
signature we cannot obtain, so the divergence is documented with the two
conditions that would reverse it.

The vim finding was five patches, not four. The spirv-headers finding pointed at
the wrong tree.

Also drops app-editors/vim-core/files/{vimrc-r7,xxd-completion}, orphaned -- no
ebuild in the overlay references either.

Verification: pkgcheck one target at a time with --cache=-git over all 16
packages. What remains is pre-existing or inherited and was checked as such:
app-editors/zed DeprecatedEclass llvm-r1 (::gentoo's zed uses it too),
app-office/libreoffice NonsolvableDeps on media-libs/libeot (no ~arm in
::gentoo). egencache with an explicit filter; it also pruned 101 orphan cache
entries, and no live ebuild lost its entry. No build was merged -- this host has
no sudo.

app-office/libreoffice-l10n is NOT in this commit. The new digest axis found all
180 of its 26.2.6.1 distfiles missing from the Manifest; regenerating it is a
separate change and a large download.

mod(dev-util/mesa_clc-26.3.0_pre20260829, media-libs/mesa-26.3.0_pre20260829): offer LLVM 23 as an opt-in slot

LLVM_COMPAT gains 23 in both ebuilds. The slot 22 default is untouched:
llvm-r2.eclass carries _LLVM_NEWEST_STABLE=22, so 23 lands in the eclass's
"unstable" bucket and the generated IUSE keeps +llvm_slot_22, with
llvm_slot_23 available but off. Nothing changes for anyone who does not ask
for it -- and on this host nothing changes at all until LLVM_SLOT in
make.conf is raised, since that is what selects the slot tree-wide.

Every dependency the generated deps name exists for slot 23: llvm-core/llvm,
llvm-core/clang, dev-util/spirv-llvm-translator (SLOT=$(ver_cut 1)) and
llvm-runtimes/libclc-23.1.0. Their KEYWORDS cover the same arches as the
slot 22 counterparts, ~arch instead of stable, so this opens no new
architecture gap -- pkgcheck reports exactly the findings it did before the
change, with no NonsolvableDeps.

Mesa itself sets no LLVM ceiling: meson.build asks for '>= 18.0.0' and
derives the LLVMSPIRVLib requirement from whichever LLVM it resolves, so the
translator only ever has to match the chosen slot.

Verified by building against slot 23 with the environment the ebuild
produces (PATH and PKG_CONFIG_PATH pointed at /usr/lib/llvm/23):

mesa_clc configure + compile pass; ldd resolves libLLVM.so.23.1,
libclang-cpp.so.23.1 and libLLVMSPIRVLib.so.23.1 under
/usr/lib/llvm/23.
mesa radeonsi, llvmpipe, iris, d3d12 and virgl all compile; with
ninja -k 0 the only target that fails in the whole tree is
src/vulkan/runtime/astc_spv.h, which is glslangValidator
rejecting local_size_x_id and involves no LLVM at all.

Not covered: rusticl (USE=opencl) was not compiled against slot 23.
llvm-runtimes/libclc is not slotted -- one unversioned libclc.pc in
/usr/share/pkgconfig -- and only libclc-22.1.8 is installed here, so
building it would have paired LLVM 23 with the wrong libclc. Emerging
libclc-23.1.0 needs root, which this host does not have.

fix(dev-util/mesa_clc-26.3.0_pre20260829): call the pkg_setup of the eclass it inherits

The ebuild inherited llvm-r1 while pkg_setup() called llvm-r2_pkg_setup, a
function only llvm-r2.eclass defines. The call carries no || die, so bash
returned 127 and the ebuild carried on: neither llvm_fix_tool_path LLVM_CONFIG
(which exists precisely for meson, bug #907965) nor llvm_prepend_path ever ran.

That left two LLVM slots in one configure. Meson scanned an uncorrected PATH
and took llvm-config from the newest installed slot, while PKG_CONFIG_PATH kept
using get_llvm_prefix -- which reads LLVM_SLOT from the USE flag and was still
correct. Mesa derives the LLVMSPIRVLib requirement from the LLVM it found, so
it asked for one slot and was handed the .pc of another:

Dependency LLVMSPIRVLib ... need: '>= 23.1' ... found '22.1.0.0'

llvm-r2 is what ::gentoo uses in every version of this package, 9999 included.
Every autoupdate snapshot since 2026-08-09 copied the error forward, because
the applier bases each bump on the previous ebuild.

Also stop overwriting PN. PN="mesa" was assigned after inherit, replacing the
variable for every eclass and phase that followed, when only SRC_URI needs the
upstream project name. MY_PN carries it instead; the resulting URL is identical.

Verified with a real build under a private PORTAGE_TMPDIR (no root): configure
and compile both pass, and ldd on the built mesa_clc resolves libLLVM.so.22.1,
libclang-cpp.so.22.1 and libLLVMSPIRVLib.so.22.1 all under /usr/lib/llvm/22.

md5-cache regenerated -- INHERIT and _eclasses_ both change with the eclass.
The deletions are stale entries for snapshots no longer in the tree.

O zed nao pode usar o titulo de commit "Bump Zed to vX": o repo faz ~24
commits/dia, entao a janela de 50 commits cobre ~1,3 dia e o bump sai dela.

Sem fonte declarada seguem apenas sys-apps/asus-ec-sensors e sci-ml/ik_llama-cpp,
cujos upstreams nao versionam nada — 0_p<data> e' a forma correta para eles.
